Complexity beat HAVU in FunSpark ULTI Europe Final-cs case roi

Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke topped the charts as the 'Juggernaut' made light work of their opponent.

Complexity have advanced to the FunSpark ULTI Europe Final upper bracket semi-final following a 2-0 victory against HAVU on Monday. This result sets the 'Juggernaut' up for a clash with FORZE, who stunned Virtus.pro, the highest-ranked team in the tournament, in the first match of the day.

As for HAVU, they have another arduous task ahead of them as they'll play an elimination match against Virtus.pro in the first round of the lower bracket on Thursday.

k0nfig put in a stellar performance on Overpass

k0nfig and Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer secured the first pistol of the series for Complexity with three and two frags respectively, which allowed the international team to control the action on Mirage from the very beginning. HAVU couldn't handle the Terrorists' pace and only managed to get five rounds on the board on the CT side.

Complexity grabbed the second pistol as well, dealing a huge blow to HAVU's comeback hopes. The international team survived against the anti-eco buy and built a wall that the Finnish team could not break through to run out comfortable winners.

The series moved on to Overpass, HAVU's map pick, with the Finnish side taking an early lead, going up 3-0 on the T side before Complexity bought rifles and chained four rounds together. The Finns were looking more comfortable on this map, but they had difficulties going up against k0nfig, who fueled his team to win the half by one round with 17 kills to his name.

It seemed that HAVU would be capable of pushing the game to the third map after they won the 17th round with a scrappy buy and broke Complexity's economy, but the international team didn't concede a single round once they had rifles again, completely dismantling the Finns' defence with the help of k0nfig, who didn't slow down in the second half.
